Hope For The Warriors Rings the NASDAQ Stock Market Opening Bell

Wounded Service Member is Honored to Partake in NASDAQ Opening Bell Ceremony

Hope For The Warriors? will ring The NASDAQ Stock Market Opening Bell at the NASDAQ MarketSite in Times Square to begin the trading day on December 28, 2012. Hope For The Warriors? staff, board members, service members, and military families will attend. Hope For The Warriors? is a national nonprofit organization that assists combat-wounded service members, their families, and families of the fallen.

The guest of honor will be Sgt. Sean DeBevoise, USMC (Ret.). DeBevoise, originally from New City, NY, now resides in Hamlet, NC. He deployed three times?once to Haiti and twice to Camp Fallujah, Iraq as a scout sniper. On May 17, 2006, on a combat raid outside of Zaidon, DeBevoise received shrapnel and four bullet wounds across his body including one that penetrated his head. DeBevoise medically retired from the Marine Corps in June 2009. He received his associate degree in the fall of 2011. In his free time, he is an active member of Team Hope For The Warriors? and has raced on his handcycle in numerous races, including the Marine Corps Marathon.
